Philosophy Buffalo Hockey is defined as follows. A first rate organization that emphasizes a high level of skill development, competitiveness, speed and quickness, with players who carry themselves with class and dignity. Experience: We want Buffalo hockey players to have the best possible experience.
Their time within our program should be positive when they reflect back on their hockey career. We will provide encouragement and help players develop skills to make them not only quality hockey players but quality people. Faith, Family, School, Hockey: During the season, priorities should be considered in this order. The only way a player can succeed on the ice is by having the others in place first.
Disciplined Play: The little things turn into big things when you put them all together. We teach our players to headman the puck when someone is open, shoot the puck when the opportunity presents itself, pass to create not to avoid, hit to separate not to hurt, to not retaliate, and to act like you have done it before. Our players will show confidence because we will have worked hard and competed in practice. Demanding not demeaning. We demand hard work, attention to detail, and unselfish play. To accomplish this there needs to be mutual respect for everyone involved.
Being up front and honest with players and coaches is pivotal. Everyone deserves praise when appropriate and at times players need correcting. This is where we, as coaches, correct and teach what is desired, emphasize the positives, and correct the negatives. Developing Character: Coaches change lives. Student-Athletes perform higher than those who do not participate in co-curricular activities.
The Buffalo hockey program works hard at all levels to develop character. There is more to life than just hockey, and everyone’s career will end sometime. For most, hockey will not pay the bills, therefore students need a solid foundation to draw from Planning: There is a plan for everything we do.
This allows us to be flexible throughout the year while working towards our goals. We are goal orientated and we need to figure out how we are going to achieve those goals. Every year presents us with new challenges and we need a plan to overcome those hurdles. Competing: Practices are carefully planned and organized. They are created to be tough in order to prepare us for game competition.
Competitive drills are included so that when we encounter a game situation we’ve practiced it before. We practice with competitiveness every day.

Maintaining a Competitive Hockey Program Each Year brings different challenges and rewards. A quality hockey program consistently works hard to instill pride in times of highs as well as lows. There are many ways to measure success and having highly skilled, competitive, sportsmanlike teams that have traditionally been the trademark Buffalo Hockey is the perfect formula. Players, parents, coaches, school, and community will be proud that this will continue for years to come. Youth Hockey: Players should play hockey because they enjoy playing hockey.
Our job is to take their excitement and energy and transfer it to a more organized situation. We accomplish this by supporting and encouraging our youth players and by following skill progressions for Player and Coach Development guidelines already in place by USA Hockey. The Buffalo Youth Hockey Association provides players with opportunities based on these guidelines. Athleticism: We do not coach only hockey players, we coach athletes.

Participation in multiple sports and activities is highly encouraged. Even though the continued hockey skill development is essential, there are many positives that transfer from one sport/activity to the other. We do not support a twelve month hockey season, yet we do support the ongoing continuation of player’s hockey skill development. High School: This is the top of the Buffalo Hockey pyramid. Players that play together will play hard, play smart and will showcase years of hard work and dedication.
Our goal at this level is to have players who love coming to the rink every day, play with effort, play with skill, and play unselfish. Everyday is a great day for hockey! Buffalo Hockey Lettering Criteria. A hockey player who has played in one half or more of the varsity games. A hockey player who makes the section playoff roster.
Coaching staff recommendation. Other information of Interest. Elimination Policy - Rosters may be filled to coaches’ discretion (ex. 7 forward lines, 11 defensemen, 5 goalies). Participation Policy - The coaching staff will attempt to put the best possible team on the ice.
We will continuously evaluate players using criteria stated in the Buffalo Hockey Evaluation sheet included in this packet. Equipment - Buffalo High School will provide the following equipment: helmet, jerseys (practice, and two game jerseys), gloves, hockey shells, socks (practice and games) and a team bag. All school issued equipment will be returned immediately following the season.
Locker Room - The Buffalo Varsity and JV programs have the opportunity to use the Varsity and JV Locker Rooms during the season. The locker room is to be used by current members of the Varsity and JV hockey teams.
The coaching staff monitors the use of the locker rooms on a daily basis and will not tolerate use by any individuals who do not follow the locker room rules. Rules are posted inside the locker rooms. Schedule - See handout/. Off-ice workouts- are not part of the season schedule. The coaching staff will monitor and schedule off-ice sessions as they see necessary. All training sessions will be announced at least 1 day in advance.
All players must wear workout shoes, workout shorts, and a workout shirt (preferably Buffalo Hockey). Players who are not prepared for training sessions will be considered unexcused. Bison Hockey Rules and Policies. Eligibility forms must be turned in before you begin practice. No jewelry during any Buffalo Hockey function.
You must be on time to games, practices, meetings, breakfast, and lifting sessions. Unexcused tardies will result in loss of game participation. All absences need to be excused. A telephone call or an email from a player/parent are the only ways to excuse an absence (no text messaging).
Please inform coaches of your absence in a timely matter so we can make proper practice or game arrangements. An unexcused absence will result in not participating in the next game. Three unexcused absences will result in dismissal from the program. Homework may not be used as an excuse to miss practice.
You have made the choice to be a student athlete, therefore you must manage your time appropriately to excel in both academics and athletics. All players, as representatives of Buffalo Hockey, shall treat others and others’ property with respect. (players, opponents, officials, facilities, locker rooms, etc). All players must abide be the MSHSL rules regarding substance use and Buffalo High School’s academic eligibility requirements. An 11:00pm curfew will be enforced the night before games.
Missing curfew will have the same consequences as an unexcused absence. All players must ride the bus to all games. JV players, have the option to ride home with your parents. As a coaching staff we would like to see our players support our teams.
JV players will be responsible for helping the coaching staff with videotaping and stats during varsity games. Sign Up for games will be done at start of the season. If a meeting is requested with members of the coaching staff by a parent the player MUST be present. The coaching staff will not talk about playing time or other members of the team. A reason for the meeting must be stated upon the request.
Team skate suits must be worn to all home and away games unless coaches notify otherwise.

What do we do if we are running out of time? Section 3 ‑ End of Time Slot. Ice and facilities responsibilities. Establish the end of the time slot before the start of the game.
Play two (2) full periods in accordance with the DVHL time durations shown in Article VII, Section 2 using stop-clock periods. Prior to the start of the third period, take the remaining time for the game slot, divide that time in half, and play that time, stop clock for the third period. Do not exceed the published time period for the third period. 20 minutes left to play - 10 minute stop-clock third period. At no time will a running clock be used. If the third period time is cut in accordance with league rules, and there is ice time remaining when the game clock reads 0:00, the game is over. The remaining ice time is not to be used for additional game time.
Once the third period begins, the clock will not be altered. If the ice slot is over and there is still time on the clock, the game is over (curfew). What if one or no referees show up? When is a game an official league game? Section 8 ‑ Ice and Facilities Responsibility. The home team shall be responsible for providing sufficient ice time, the necessary facilities and equipment, and two (2) USA Hockey qualified referees in all age divisions, and it is their responsibility to pay for them. Mite 1 hour 15 minutes total time Squirt 1 hour 15 minutes total time Peewee 1 1/2 hours total time Bantam 1 1/2 hours total time Midget 1 1/2 hours total time.
If two (2) referees are not present for the League game, the decision to play the game or not will be made by the visiting team. If the decision is made to play the game, no protest can be made on the issue of number of referees. If the decision is made not to play the game, it must be rescheduled by the home team, at their expense. Under no circumstances will the originally scheduled game be considered a forfeit because of the lack of two referees. Official's game fee: If a game is officiated by only one official, that official will be paid on and one-half times the individual game fee for that level. Under no circumstances will the official receive the entire game fee for both officials.
To expedite the game it is recommended that a timed four (4) minute warm‑up period be adhered to and a one (1) minute limit be observed when changing ends at the end of a period. The home team shall notify the visiting team what the end of the time slot is before the start of the game.
A game is not an official game unless two (2) full periods are played. If two (2) full periods are not played, no recognition of the game being played will occur, except in cases of serious misbehavior, such as match penalties or gross misconduct (which may have been the cause of game incompletion). Serious cases of misbehavior will be decided by the Commissioner per the rules of USA Hockey. How long does a player who receives a fighting penalty have to sit out? Section 6 - Fighting. Fighting Penalties for Bantam through Junio. If a player incurs a major penalty for fighting, which by USA Hockey rules is accompanied by a game misconduct penalty, the player shall sit out three (3) DVHL games for the first infraction, five (5) games for the second infraction, and shall be suspended for the balance of the season for the third infraction.
Fighting Penalties for Mite through Peewee. If a player incurs a major penalty for fighting, which by USA Hockey rules is accompanied by a game misconduct penalty, the player shall sit out one (1) DVHL game for the first infraction, two (2) games for the second infraction, and shall be suspended for the balance of the season for the third infraction. What does a suspended coach/player have to do? Section 5 - Suspended Players and Coaches Any player or coach who is suspended cannot sit or stand on or near the bench of his team. He must watch the game from the stands. A suspended player or coach is obligated to appear at the next scheduled game(s) (the actual number of games is equal to the suspension).
Prior to the game, the suspended player/coach is required to sign the scoresheet in the area allocated for suspended players and coaches. He must also print his name, number and team. If the team has a scheduled game, and a player or coach is supposed to sign, and he does not, the game does not count toward satisfying his suspension. If a player or, coach signs in the game roster section instead of the area allocated for suspended players/coaches, the game does not count toward satisfying his suspension. If a coach has more than one team, he must serve his suspension with the team for which he received the suspension. Signing the scoresheet is required for 'game' suspensions, not 'day' suspensions such as gross misconduct and match penalty.
A suspended coach is not permitted within 30 feet of the players bench, penalty box or scorekeepers box during the game or games he/she is serving a suspension. The suspended coach's name and information must be printed on the scoresheet in the area allocated for suspended players and coaches. The coach must sign the scoresheet in the suspended area as proof of serving the suspension.
No electronic communications with the players bench, penalty box or scorekeepers box during the game or games he/she is serving a suspension can be used. All suspensions incurred during a DVHL scheduled League game must be served in a DVHL scheduled league game.
This does not relieve a suspended player or coach from serving his suspension in accordance with USA Hockey (i.e. Non-league games scheduled prior to the next league game). A player or coach may in fact sit out more games than the original suspension in order to fulfill his obligation. Suspended players occupy a position on the game roster, and shall be counted toward the maximum number of players permitted on the bench even though ineligible to participate in the game or be on the team bench.
Any suspension not served during the current season will carry over into the next season. Carry-over suspensions follow the player/coach, not the team or club. If a player/coach moves up from one age classification to another, the carry-over suspension still must be served. If a player/coach moves to a different Club, the carry-over suspension still must be served. Proof of serving a suspension must be submitted to the Commissioner at or before the May Board Meeting or the suspension will carry over to the next season without exception.
Signature on the scoresheet in the area allocated for suspended players/coaches or indication of name, number, and team is the only proof that will be accepted for service of a suspension. Whenever a player or coach receives a game misconduct or match penalty, the coach or his designee (e.g. Team manager) shall file, with the League Commissioner a written report (sent by fax or email) in the form required and shall include a copy of the score sheet from the game in which the penalty was imposed. The report shall be filed within seventy-two (72) hours following the conclusion of the game. Any party aggrieved by the decision of the Commissioner regarding the imposition of a suspension may appeal that decision to the Ex. Committee of the DVHL by written request to the Commissioner or the League President.
The appeal shall be accompanied by a check for the appropriate filing fee. All appeals shall be heard following regularly scheduled monthly DVHL meetings.
The filing of an appeal shall not toll the execution of the suspension unless the Ex. Committee determines that the suspension shall not be executed pending the appeal hearing.
At the appeal hearing, the aggrieved may present witnesses and other evidence that it deems appropriate. Any party aggrieved by the decision made by the Ex.
Committee following an appeal hearing on a suspension or any other matter, may appeal that decision in writing addressed to the DVHL President. Upon receipt of that appeal, the DVHL President shall appoint a three member panel composed of individuals who are not members of the DVHL Ex. Committee to hear the appeal. Any party aggrieved by the decision made by the three member appeal panel appointed for that purpose by the DVHL President may appeal that decision in writing addressed to the Atlantic District who shall administer that appeal pursuant to the Atlantic District rules. Who needs to sign the scoresheet? Section 4 – Scoresheet handbook and player roster.
The scoresheet handbook is a part of the DVHL Playing Rules and Procedures. Every player (except mites), and assistant coaches participating in a league game must sign the game scoresheet prior to participating in the game. If a player or assistant coach has not signed the scoresheet and participates in the game, the head coach is subject to a one game suspension. The head coach shall be designated on the scoresheet at the beginning of the game and shall sign the scoresheet as the end of the game to verify the scoresheet unless they have been removed from the game due to a penalty being imposed.
The head coach of the team is the head coach that is listed on the USA Hockey roster unless serving a suspension and an assistant coach being named 'acting' head coach for that particular game. Can we and how do we postpone a game? Section 3 - Postponement of Game.
In the event of extraordinary circumstances such as automobile accidents, hazardous road conditions, loss of ice surface due to rink equipment, etc. A game may be postponed. (Sickness, such as flu, is not an extraordinary circumstance.).
To postpone a game, a team must follow this procedure: a. Phone call to the other team's official DVHL-listed League Scheduler explaining the extraordinary circumstances. If unable to reach the scheduler, to any other person listed for the opposing team's Club, e.g. The President or other representative to DVHL listed on the DVHL phone and address list. If unable to reach any of the above-listed people, to any Executive Board Member of the DVHL Executive Committee. If this procedure is not followed, the offending Club will be responsible for payment to the non-offending Club regardless of circumstances. If a team postpones a game, it will still be responsible for ice and game forfeiture.
The Presidents of the involved Clubs (or their appointed representative) will then be responsible to agree to reschedule or ask for payment for each game postponed in this manner. All disputes will be referred to the League Commissioner.
If both parties still do not agree, the matter will be referred to the February meeting of the DVHL Board of Directors. Visiting teams must confirm game times within seventy-two (72) hours in advance of a regularly scheduled game.
Any game not played as a result of extraordinary circumstances shall be rescheduled within one (1) week of its original scheduled date. All canceled games shall be replayed prior to February 15 of the current season. All procedures concerning forfeits and rescheduling as contained in these by‑laws and/or the League Constitution shall be rigidly adhered to by all members. NOTE: By-law reads that game must be rescheduled, not replayed within one (1) week. When a team fails to appear for a game (or appears with fewer than the required number of players as described in Article III, Section 3, Paragraph 1), where the time and place appear in the official DVHL schedule, where the two teams did not agree in advance to reschedule the game and notify the league scheduler or Commissioner accordingly, and where there are not extraordinary circumstances (see above), the game will automatically be a forfeit win for the non‑offending team. If the non-offending team prefers to play the game, it will be rescheduled at the convenience of the non-offending team, and at the expense (ice cost and referees) of the offending team. The amount specified by the non-offending team (if it is the home team) must be received at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the rescheduled time.
If not, the game will remain a forfeit, and the non-offending team is no longer responsible to play the game. A team which does not have a minimum of six (6) players on its bench by ten (10) minutes after the scheduled game time shall forfeit the game. If games are not played as per schedule before expiration of League play, a forfeit victory will be awarded to the non‑offending team as determined by the Commissioner. Games awarded to a team by way of forfeit may be appealed by the penalized team to the Executive Committee. No fee is required. The Executive Committee will address the matter within seven (7) days and their decision will be final. All forfeits will be reviewed by the Executive Committee to determine the validity of the forfeit.
Forfeits of a league game without league permission will result in a $400 fine to the offending club. If a forfeit is found to be invalid, disciplinary measures may be imposed. How are protests and appeals done? Section 9 - Protests. Protests will be recorded on the front of the original copy of the official scoresheet in the remarks area, and signed by the protesting coach. All protests will be null and void if a written explanation of the protest accompanied by a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) is not received by the Commissioner within seventy-two (72) hours. If the protest is won, the money is returned.
Protests regarding the use of an ineligible player may be made upon discovery and are not subject to the seventy-two (72) hour rule. If a game must be replayed, the same player roster must be used. All suspensions incurred or served during a protested/rescheduled game will count as a League suspension or service. All protests and ice forfeiture bond requests must be made in writing to the Commissioner. All correspondence with the DVHL Executive Committee, President or Commissioner (e.g.
Appeals and Protests) shall only be through the Club President or his designee as provided to the DVHL Executive Committee. Section 10 - Appeals. Appeals on the Commissioner's decision must be presented in writing to the Executive Committee, accompanied by a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). No suspension will be reversed during the appeal.
All correspondence with the DVHL Executive Committee, President or Commissioner (e.g. Appeals and Protests) shall only be through the Club President or his designee as provided to the DVHL Executive Committee. Any party aggrieved by the decision of the Commissioner regarding the imposition of a suspension may appeal that decision to the Ex. Committee of the DVHL by written request to the Commissioner or the League President. The appeal shall be accompanied by a check for the appropriate filing fee ($50.00). All appeals shall be heard following regularly scheduled monthly DVHL meetings.

Any issues requiring action by the Executive Board or the Commissioner need to be referred back to those entities for investigation and action.
9.How is the league championship and playoff participants determined? Section 17 - League Championship & PLAYOFF DETERMINATION. The League championship will be awarded to the team accumulating the most points during the regular league season as follows: a. League standings are accumulated by awarding a team two (2) points for a win, one (1) point for a tie and no (0) points for a loss.
Should two (2) or more teams be tied for first place, the following criteria shall be used to break that tie:. The highest number of points gained in the games involving the tied teams (head to head). The highest number of games won in League competition. If a tie still results, a playoff game (or games) shall be held to determine the winner. Note: Under no circumstances are goals or goal differentials used to determine League winners or second place finishers. If teams have an unequal number of games played, the following criteria shall be used: a.
The highest percentage of points obtained vs. Points available. If tied after 1. Above, a playoff game (or games) shall be held to determine the winner. The Executive Committee will give final approval on which teams may participate in District Tournaments.
No player may participate in DVHL playoffs, AAHA district tournaments or USA Hockey National Tournaments with a DVHL team unless said player has played in atleast one DVHL league game and has been on a DVHL roster since atleast December 31 of the season. The playoff seeding will be awarded to the team accumulating the most points during the regular league season as follows: a. League standings are accumulated by awarding a team two (2) points for a win, one (1) point for a tie and no (0) points for a loss.

What is considered tampering? Section 7 - Tampering. Tampering is defined as recruiting of a rostered and/or registered player without the prior written approval from the organization of the rostered and/or registered player. No coach, manager or club official connected with a registered team may entice, influence or otherwise tamper with a player rostered with another registered team without the prior written approval of a club president or his designee.
The DVHL president must be advised in writing by the club president of any designee. Discography depeche mode. A release will not be effective until it has been received in writing and signed by the current officer of the association who is not a parent of the player or a member of the team involved. After investigating the matter to the fullest extent, the Executive Committee may invoke the following penalties: a. To the player; a rostered, protected player who takes the ice with another team without prior written approval may not play for that organization for at least the remainder of the current season, regardless of obtaining a subsequent release.
To all others; any individual or organization that violates the above rules is also subject to fine, probation or suspension, or may not be eligible to participate in DVHL playoffs or District Tournament. What if I need to move a player from one team to another? Section 3 - Player Movement. Until December 31, each team will be allowed six (6) moves within an age division and/or between age divisions (goalies exempt). This does not include assignment of a player to an in-house program which must occur at the time of player evaluations per section 3 of the Constitution. Unless approved by the appropriate Vice President (or to any member of the Executive Committee if the appropriate Vice President is unavailable), players will not be permitted to move down and play in a lower division unless that move is a permanent one.
Such player will not be eligible to be considered for any further movement for the remainder of the season. All player movement must be to a higher division or level, i.e. B to A, A to AA. A move in any direction is considered one (1) move. Notification of these moves must be made (by telephone) to the appropriate Vice President (or to any member of the Executive Committee if the appropriate Vice President is unavailable) PRIOR to the player's participating in a DVHL game. The completed 'Player Movement Confirmation Form' prescribed by the Commissioner must be emailed, faxed or mailed within five (5) days of the 'moved' player's effective date for participation in League play (at the new level). This form will then be marked received by the appropriate Vice-President, dated and faxed back to the originator.
A return email confirming the move and/or the addition of the player by the appropriate to the DVHL web based roster is acceptable confirmation as well. Failure to follow the above procedures may cause the player to be declared ineligible, and the game to be forfeited. The 'Player Movement Confirmation Form' is also required to follow up on roster additions and deletions.
Goalies may be moved from one team to another team (at division or level within a division) on an exception basis. This move must be approved by the appropriate Vice President, or member of the Executive Committee, in the absence of the Vice President. NOTE: A player movement from one level to the next, e.g.
Mite to squirt, constitutes two (2) movements, one (1) being charged to each team. Once a player is deleted from your roster, that player can not be added back to your roster except as described in section 3A. Any exception to this rule must be presented to the Executive Committee for final approval. Player additions and player movements to a team that had been granted their petition during the petitioning process must have the approval of the appropriate vice president of the level in question. What if I have a player that wants to change from Tier I (AAA) or Junior to play on my team at Tier II? Section 5 - Tier 1 and Junior Players.
Any player or players having been registered or having participated in a league game on a Tier 1 or Junior level team during the current season may not participate on a DVHL team unless that player is deleted from the Tier 1 or Junior team roster for the current season. (Tier 1 or Junior means Atlantic League or equivalent or any Junior team whether independent or tournament bound) a.
Such a move must be approved by the Executive Committee. Once having been rostered on a DVHL team, the movement of that player or players back to a Tier 1 or junior team shall be cause for protest and possible forfeit of any DVHL games in which such player(s) participated. Tier 1 includes both Major and Minor players. What are the rules of the DVHL roster? Section 2 - Rostering. Rostering will occur by age division. Each Club will submit to the appropriate Vice President a list of all players registered in each age division prior to the first League game of any of that Club's teams in that age division.
Additions to the roster may not be made after December 31, except for relocation of greater than twenty (20) miles, or the player has never played organized hockey (Tier I or II club hockey). House league are eligible. Appeals to roster additions, after cutoffs, must be made to the appropriate Vice President, and proper player movement forms submitted, as prescribed in this Article. Each team is to have an official, completed DVHL Rostering Form for that team submitted to and in the hands of the appropriate Vice President prior to the team's first DVHL game.
Otherwise the offending organization will be fined $500 and/or forfeit as decided by the Executive Committee that game and all subsequent games involving non-submission of the roster(s). No protest will be entertained for the failure to abide by this rule. A player can be rostered on only one (1) DVHL club. No player will be allowed to play in a League game unless rostered.
Whenever an ineligible player's name appears on a game sheet, the game will be played and is subject to protest. The roster of each team on a probationary Club is limited to having a maximum of two (2) players who were rostered with other DVHL Clubs in the previous year. This would include the rosters of teams from DVHL Clubs that may choose to participate in either the CBHL or NJYHL. These players must have a written release from their previous Club to be rostered on a probationary Club. The only exceptions are: Prior, written agreement from affected Clubs in the area of the new Club or if a club ceases operation.
Team rosters for teams on probationary Clubs, including at least ten (10) players actually registered with that Club, must be received by the President at least seven (7) days prior to the regularly scheduled DVHL meeting in October of the current season. At least ten (10) players on such a roster must be 'frozen', and may not be removed from that roster for the current playing season. A female player may be rostered on a boys team and a girls team, with the same or separated DVHL clubs, during the same competitive season. What fines are imposed if we do not abide by the bylaws? Completed DVHL roster 16. What do we do in the event of hazardous weather/road conditions? Due to the many problems which have occurred over the past few years concerning the cancellation and rescheduling of games by individual teams or clubs as a result of hazardous weather or road conditions, the league has established a program which will be put into effect when these conditions exist. The league has been divided into four sectors: north, south, east and west. Your club has been placed in a sector according to your location.
This program involves the club schedulers only Each sector will be represented by a club scheduler from the designated area by a “Sector Representative”. Your representative will serve as a liaison between your sector and the league scheduler.
When there is potential for hazardous weather or road conditions that will affect the DVHL schedule, this program will go into effect:. Wednesday – Keep watch on your local weather forecast, plan to be available for the next few days; if you cannot be available during that time, notify your club president and sector representative. THIS WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Thursday – SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES ARE TO CONTACT THE LEAGUE SCHEDULER OR THE EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT. Inform them as to the present and extended weather outlook for your region. The Executive Committee will be notified of your report, and at this time a decision will be made on any games that are scheduled for Friday only – the league scheduler or the sector representative will notify the club scheduler of the affected organization – All decisions will be made by the Executive committee. Friday - SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES ARE TO CONTACT THEIR CLUB SCHEDULERS.
Discuss the present weather forecast/road conditions in your area. Contact the league scheduler or Ex. Vice-President with an updated weather and road condition report. The board will then make a decision concerning the games on Saturday and possibly Sunday. Decisions will be made based on the reports of weather and road conditions, travel and game times. All decisions will be made by the Ex.
Committee – no club, scheduler, or team manager is to cancel or reschedule any game. As soon as a decision is made, the club scheduler will be contacted by either their sector representative or the league scheduler. The club scheduler will then notify their president and coaches.
The league scheduler will arrange rescheduling at a later date. Saturday – If this plan is still in effect for games being played on Sunday, follow the same procedure as for Friday. When are completed scoresheets due into the league? Section 19 - Delinquent Scoresheets. All organizations shall file all scoresheets for each game played and all scoresheets must be postmarked by the Wednesday following the completion of that game. Any Club whose scoresheet is not received will be notified, and within two (2) weeks of that notification, if said scoresheet is still not in, shall cause that game to be forfeited by the team responsible for the delay, regardless of the actual outcome of the game. (The home team is responsible for the forwarding of the completed scoresheet to Sal Marinari.).
Prior to each season the League President shall designate a person within the League responsible for receiving scoresheets. A fine of twenty dollars ($20.00) per week per missing scoresheet will be assessed, subject to a maximum of five (5) weeks, to each Club missing a scoresheet.
