  2. Battlefield For Xbox

Hey, so my friend wants to play fifa 15 against me. But his Xbox Controllers (Wired) wont work. This is the problem and info: - Buttons are not working correctly in-game - Two Gamepads are being shown in device-manager, but only one gamepad is actually connected - Buttons are working fine in windows - He has a test version of windows 7 64bit This is what I tried so far: - Updating drivers manually (keeps failing to install drivers) - Searching for the driver online (Can only find the normal program from Microsoft, which does not work) Thanks in Advance! Quote: I MAY have found the solution. I watched this video and did everything it said. Then I went into device manager and selected 'show hidden devices' and I deleted ALL of the greyed out usb devices and my greyed out 'xbox 360 controller for windows' since one was already in there. So windows has installed two of these drivers for some reason and multiple other copies of my usb drivers.

Just to clarify: I unplugged everything besides my controller, mouse and keyboard and restarted, then deleted all of multiple copies of usb drivers that windows has made that WERE greyed out. And I think this may have solved my problem. So far no issues.

Edit: 1 more thing I've noticed is that in Device Manager there are two drivers for my 360 controller activated at the same time. One is called xbox 360 controller for windows and the other is called HID-complaint game controller.

Whenever I play a game I disable HID-complaint game controller and keep xbox 360 controller for windows enabled. Having both of these enabled at the same time seems to cause a problem because that's when my controller starts to blink and switch to player 2. Sometimes When I'm in a game windows will automatically enable HID-complaint game controller again so I tab out of the game occasionally to make sure it's still disabled. Turning off automatic driver install may help after reboot, plugin in the xbox controllers.
